Campus Involvement
The Archway Partnership simplifies the process whereby faculty and students become involved in high priority community needs.
The Archway Professional, a UGA Public Service faculty member, in each community identifies high priority needs and is available to facilitate student and faculty interaction with the community. Faculty needing to do community-based research or seeking good service learning projects can rely on the insight and local connectivity of the Archway Professional. Students have a friend in the community to assist with identification of projects for internships and provide opportunities to meet and work with community leaders. Archway only works on high priority needs thus ensuring that faculty and student work will be valued by the community.
